We are excited that so many new men have joined Seven 24 over the past few weeks, and this is exactly what we were hoping for.
Several of you have recently asked how Seven 24 started and what it is all about. So, it might be time to reintroduce who we are, how Seven24 came to be, and why we exist. More importantly, we want to remind you of what it is about: a community of guys walking through life together, encouraging one another, and growing in faith.
Seven24 started with a simple idea. We strongly believe that men need meaningful male relationships in their lives, something deeper than just talking about sports and other surface stuff. Many men are reported to be lonely. Outside of their wives, they have no one they can have an open, trusted relationship with. Even with busy schedules and lives, men report feeling something is missing.
What if there was a space for men to connect beyond Sunday mornings? A place where faith isn't just talked about but lived out in the real, everyday moments. We wanted to create something that felt natural, unforced, and open to any guy who needed a little encouragement, accountability, or just some good conversation—a place to feel community. There is no pressure, no pretenses—just real talk about faith, life, and what it means to follow Jesus. We wanted to create a place for men to open up to the challenges we all face as men, dads, husbands, and even Papa's.
Proverbs 27:17 reminds us "That As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."
We've seen Seven24 grow in ways we never expected—through live events, small group conversations, and guys stepping up to encourage each other. As we hoped, new, deeper relationships will be created. Whether it is a Fist Bump 👊 like this, a GroupMe discussion, or a casual meet-up over coffee, Seven24 has become a space where men can be real with each other and take steps forward in their faith.
Seven24 isn't a club—there's no membership—but an open door for guys who want to grow and connect.
If you have not checked out the monthly devotional, now's a great time. We are having new guys join each week. We post our monthly devotionals on GroupMe and our weekly Fist Bumps.
If you're not in the GroupMe discussion, jump in here.
Follow us on social media to stay connected, and if you know a guy who could use this community, invite him.
Hebrews 10:24-25 says it best: "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Here is our challenge to all of you. Take a second this week and think about one guy in your life who might benefit from being part of Seven24. Please text him, invite him to check out a devotional, or bring him to the next event. Consider posting what Seven24 has meant to you on LinkedIn or other social media—who knows, someone might see it and decide to join.
Jesus calls us to go beyond ourselves and step into community with others.
As 1 Thessalonians 5:11 encourages us: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
