What Questions Are You Asking This Year?
Do you like to ask questions? If you are like us, you may find that often, we don’t ask enough questions. Or maybe we have questions from a faith perspective that we struggle with the answers to. Why does God allow uncontrollable fires, hurricanes, war, famine, etc.?
If we are struggling, we may ask God why we have health challenges, relationship problems, pain, sorrow, loss, etc.
What are we asking for right now?
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8
This week, we were reminded that God answers our questions for purely HIS reasons—not what WE want! God knows every aspect of our lives, including our pain, problems, and daily needs.
At Seven24, we are asking some questions:
How does God want us to continue to connect with the broader Church? We sense an opportunity to better connect with Men’s group leaders at the churches we attend. If you feel led, we would love your help better connecting the Seven24 group with the men’s ministry at your Church.
How does God want us to serve and love others? We have several serving opportunities lined up for the year. Do you have something in mind? We would love to hear from you. Where can we help in our community?
How do we serve the men of Seven24? Do you have a need? Do you know someone in need? We would love to help. What feedback do you have for us?
Gents, as we kick off this new year, let’s remember that God has questions for us as well. Let’s prepare ourselves, just as God questioned Job.
“Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.” Job 38:3
