Embracing Trust and Patience in Our Daily Walk with God

Do you guys struggle to “be still” and let God work in your lives? If you are like us, you often want to “take matters into our own hands” or “take control of the situation.” Certainly, that is important for us men as leaders in our families, work, and life. However, when do we hear the Holy Spirit telling us to lay off and let God work?

Our God is bigger than any challenge that we are going to face. Do we believe that? Are we giving HIM the credit for how he has designed a specific plan for each of us? In business, we often talk about taking time to listen before speaking and taking action. How well are we listening first to what God wants us to do before taking action?

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14

Guys, we get it; it's something we struggle with daily.

When do we step up and take action, and when do we take time in prayer, reflection, and time to let God work? Our challenge this week is to take some time aside each day in prayer, specifically for where God wants to see us. TRUST HIM to work in our lives. I am praying for you guys that God will meet each of you where you are. And that he would PROVIDE for you this week in a way that HONORS and GLORIFIES HIM as the all-powerful creator of this universe.
