You were sent, not just saved!

easter service

He has risen, He has risen indeed.

Easter has a way of slowing us down. Whether it was time with family, church, or just a moment to breathe, it reminds us of something bigger than our weekly grind.

A risen Savior.

Over the past six weeks, we walked through the Seven24 Lent devotion. Story after story, moment after moment, one theme kept showing up. God is intentional. Nothing about Jesus’s life was random.

Hundreds of prophecies pointed to Him. Every step fulfilled something written long before. One verse kept standing out:

“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” Psalm 118:22

It forces a question most of us don’t like to sit with. If we were there, would we have believed? Or would we have doubted? Would we have stood firm or folded under pressure?

It’s easy to look back now with clarity. Harder to imagine ourselves in that moment. But here’s what matters most. After the resurrection, the disciples were unsure, scattered, and trying to make sense of it all. Then Jesus shows up and says:

“Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” John 20:21

That changes everything.

Easter isn’t just something to remember. It’s something to respond to.

You weren’t just saved. You were sent.

  • Into your work.

  • Into your family.

  • Into your conversations.

  • Into your influence.

So as you step into this week, don’t just carry the message of Easter. Live it. Peace be with you. Now go make a difference.
